Our Actions for Climate Justice

Donegal Youth Service’s Our Blue Planet II environment group was set up in 2018. A young person, Lee, wrote to the DYS (Donegal Youth Service) staff team asking for action in reducing the needless waste from our headquarters. This led to the environmental group being set up. They invited the DCC (Donegal County Council) in to assist them in the planning. Through DCC they received recycling bins targeting cans. They are also awaiting display units to be distributed to third level education facilities to educate young people on recycling and avoiding single use plastics.
