The group in Clare focuses on raising awareness of environmental and climate issues with young people through discussion and social media campaigns.
The group meets weekly on Zoom and hope to get back to normal group meetings soon. They also took part in Youth Work Ireland’s environment activity – My Planet My Pledge – and worked on their own piece to raise awareness for Earth day and this was promoted through a social media campaign.
Two young people spoke about why they get involved in activism.
